We are currently seeking experienced Security Officers who are suitably qualified, self-motivated and professional to meet our client requirements delivering security escort services for a large capital works project at a Perth Correctional Facility.
As a Prison Escort Security Officer you must have outstanding personal presentation and customer service skills, previous VSO / Correctional experience highly regarded. During capital projects, external contractors are required to enter the prison. It is the role of escort officers to enable this access whilst ensuring good order and security of the project / prison environment, including the safety of people and assets within this zone.

The primary functions of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to maintain vigilant security oversight of all individuals working within a secure environment
- Proficiency in escorting persons and vehicles, ensuring their safe movement and adherence to security protocols
- Competence in conducting access control duties, including verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and enforcing security measures
- Demonstrated skill in conducting equipment audits, maintaining accurate registers, and ensuring accountability of project resources.
- Familiarity with traffic management procedures and the ability to adhere to them for the control of vehicles and pedestrians
- Capability to perform regular security patrols, inspecting designated areas, and identifying any suspicious activities or breaches
- Aptitude for promptly identifying and reporting incidents, ensuring accurate documentation and communication to relevant parties
- Ability to recognize and report unsafe work practices or hazards, contributing to a safe working environment for all personnel
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating radio and duress systems effectively for prompt communication and emergency response
- Willingness to actively participate in toolboxes, briefings, and meetings as required, fostering collaboration and information sharing

Essential Licenses and qualifications:
To be considered, you MUST hold the correct licences / certification:
- Current and valid WA Security licence
- Current and valid WA Driver's licence
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Must hold current valid First Aid and CPR
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management and/or Traffic Controller Certification (preferred but not essential)
- Full, unlimited right-to-work in Australia
