Who are we?
We are a team of passionate and dedicated psychologists, providing assessment and treatment to both children and adults. Our psychology practice is located in Norwest Business Park, Bella Vista.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a reception/administration assistant to help with the smooth running of the practice. The role requires someone with great interpersonal skills, who can help our clients feel comfortable and at ease. The successful applicant will also be able to work independently, and display a high degree of accuracy and organization. Administrative experience within the health industry would be an advantage.
The role is a part-time, casual position. The successful applicant will be available to work on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 1.00pm – 6.00pm. Within the role there is the occasional opportunity for extra shifts to cover holiday leave of colleagues.
Role responsibilities:
- Reception duties, both phone and front counter.
- Responding to enquiries as appropriate, with good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Providing general information and advice about the services provided by the practice, and taking new bookings.
- Using practice management software to manage client information and psychologists’ appointments.
- Invoicing clients and processing payments.
- Filing and archiving client documents.
It is essential that the applicant demonstrates:
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and telephone manner.
An ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
Excellent computer and administration skills including the use of Microsoft Office applications, data entry, and experience with practice management software although training on our system will be provided.
