The Coordinator-General (CG) is an independent officer of the State, reporting directly to the Minister from within the Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning. Relied upon to drive and deliver economic opportunities and prosperity for Queensland, the role leverages significant, wide ranging regulatory powers to plan, deliver and coordinate large-scale projects, while ensuring their environmental and social impacts are properly managed.

You will make a big difference to Queensland by working with stakeholders across sectors including energy and minerals, agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, and infrastructure. You will be instrumental in balancing industry needs and public expectations, stimulating jobs and growth but not at the expense of the environment of community. You play a key role in ensuring the success of the Government's Energy and Jobs plan and will administer the Strong and Sustainable Resources Communities Act.

As a member of the Department's executive leadership team, you will lead a large and diverse team to help us better represent our Queensland community in everything we do.

To be successful you will be as a highly recognised leader with demonstrated success in a similarly complex role in a public or industry setting.
