Position overview
The Division of Student Administration and Academic Services (DSAAS) is within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Portfolio. DSAAS is responsible for the administrative support of students through the student lifecycle, from when an offer is made to the completion of their studies and graduation. Activities of the Division include admissions, general student enquiries, enrolment, class timetabling, program management, financial transactions, scholarship management, examination management, legislative compliance in relation to students including appeals, grievances, academic misconduct, discipline processes, curriculum management and the development and support of student systems.
ANU Student Central supports activities related to orientation, course enrolment, program management, academic adjustments, fees, timetabling, examinations, graduation, academic records and documents. The team's core service is the provision of University-wide student enquiry support for student administration processes, systems and referral to support services.
Under the direction of the Student Central Coordinator, the Student Central Officer will provide administrative, enquiry and project support for daily operations and assist in the development and delivery of customer service, process improvement and training strategies that enhance the student experience.
