As a Probity Investigator, you will be involved in assessing the suitability of individuals and corporations to be associated with the Queensland liquor and gaming industries while providing a high level of client service. You will need to have strong communication, organisation and written skills, be highly motivated and focused on delivering outcomes.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated ability to review and critically analyse financial and legal agreements, arrangements, statements and reports in a complex legal and/or regulatory environment.
- Strong written communication skills, including experience in making recommendations, preparing briefing notes and correspondence for the consideration of the Queensland Liquor and Gaming Commissioner and the Minister.
- The ability to evaluate issues that arise in a complex regulatory environment and generate solutions for recommendation to management.
- The ability to work in high performing and collaborative team environment, including being highly motivated to deliver outcomes and being receptive to diverse perspectives.
- Experience conducting probity investigations. A qualification in law or commerce related disciplines is also considered desirable.
- The flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week, while being based at our Brisbane office.
